Parking in West Norfolk

Looking for places to park your vehicle during your stay in west Norfolk? We have compiled a list of Borough Council owned car parks in King’s Lynn, Hunstanton and Heacham. Many carparks offer disabled parking and parking for motorcycles, coaches and motorhomes.

ROVER Tickets

If you are visiting west Norfolk on holiday, you can save money by purchasing a ROVER car parking ticket.

ROVER tickets are valid for all Borough Council car parks in Hunstanton and Heacham and for all long-term Borough Council car parks in King’s Lynn.

The ticket is valid for a period of seven days from the date of purchase.

  • £24.00 – 1st November to 28th February
  • £27.00 – 1st March to 31st October

These tickets will only be issued to holiday makers visiting the borough (please check for any possibly updated prices on the official borough council website car parking page for the time of your stay). Virtual tickets can be purchased online.

Coaches and Motorhomes

King’s Lynn

Limited parking provision for coaches and motorhomes is available at Austin Fields Coach Park in King’s Lynn.

Hunstanton

Parking for coaches and motorhomes is available at Hunstanton Coach Park in Hunstanton.

Motorcyclists

King’s Lynn

Motorcyclists may park for free in designated parking areas on the following car parks in King’s Lynn:

Parking tickets should be purchased in other car parks in King’s Lynn where designated motorcycle bays are not in operation.

Hunstanton

Motorcyclists may park for free in designated blue parking areas in the following marked pay and display car parks in Hunstanton:

Motorcyclists may park for free on the following grass car parks in Hunstanton and Heacham:

Parking tickets should be purchased in the South Promenade, North Promenade and Valentine Road carparks.

Motorcycle parking at The Green in Hunstanton is available in the designated hardstanding area for £1.00. Parking charges applies at weekends and Bank Holidays from April to September. Outside of this period, parking in this area is free.

Motorcycles are not permitted to park on the grass area of The Green without prior written approval from the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.

Disabled Parking

Please be aware that you will need a Blue Badge to park in a disabled bay and you will also need to pay the appropriate daytime or evening charge.
