The Hero

The Hero is a laid-back pub set in the beautiful village of Burnham Overy Staithe, just 5 minutes from Burnham Market. We offer a wood burner, outdoor area with heaters and festoon lights, locally sourced quality produce, seasonal menus and an extensive selection of craft beers, wines and spirits. There is something for everyone.

Alongside our a la carte menus we also offer private dining, event and buffet menus to be enjoyed for parties. We welcome dogs and provide biscuits for four-legged friends that deserve a treat after long beach walks! We take bookings in the restaurant only. We allow dogs in the bar, where the same menu is served, but unfortunately no bookings (It is advisable to call for same-day bookings, as the internet here in Norfolk is not always reliable!).

Private Dining:

The Shoot Room is a splendid private space, perfect for special celebrations and shoot dinners. Seating up to 14 people, it's the ideal place to settle in with family or friends. Set menus are available.

Outside:

We have seating areas to the front and rear of the pub, as well as a bike rack, in case you fancy stopping off for more than one!
