The Anvil Inn

The Anvil Inn is a traditional country pub serving good quality homemade food, great real ales and a warm friendly welcome. We serve three ever-changing real ales sourced all over the country but focusing on local breweries.

Landlord Karl takes pride in his real ales and always ensure a variety and varying strengths from 3./6% to up to 5% plus. Landlady Kath is the chef of the partnership and serves traditional, wholesome, well-cooked and homemade food. All ingredients are localled sourced where possible, and in some cases provided by locals and regulars.

All items on the specials menu are created by Kath and the Anvil Chef team. The specials menu changes regularly and with the seasons. Following this, we have a homemade puddings menu which changes weekly with ever-changing desserts depending upon season and availability of ingredients.
