The visitor centre and car park barrier are open daily from 9.30am to 4pm. Visitors who arrive before 4pm may stay on the reserve until 8pm. Hawk and Owl Trust members with a valid access card can access the reserve and car park daily from 6am to 9.30am and 4pm to 8pm.
Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve, managed by the Hawk and Owl Trust, is a 200-acre wildlife haven in the Wensum Valley near Fakenham.
The reserve has accessible boardwalks, seven hides, a visitor centre, toilets, refreshments, picnic benches and free parking. Habitats include meadow, woodland, fen and wetland, making it a peaceful place for birdwatching, wildlife watching and gentle walks.
DISABLED ACCESS. The whole of Sculthorpe Moor Reserve is accessible to less mobile visitors. On arrival, parking is available in front of the Visitor Centre.
Assistance dogs are welcome; other dogs are not permitted on the reserve.
Open April - October, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Open November - March, 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Last entry to reserve 1 hour before closing.
