Celebrating Hunstanton's history including the arrival in 855AD of a 15 year old Saxon boy called Edmund, later to become King, martyr and first Patron Saint of England. Visitors can see the wonderful collection of fossils from the beach when it was truly tropical. We also have the Vault Cinema with 55” TV screen showing films of the railway, floods and other historical TV programmes.
If you have not already visited the Heritage Centre, at the old NatWest Bank on the corner of Greevegate and Northgate, it is well worth a look and a wander around the very interesting displays of our Sunny Hunny in "times gone by”.
The Centre is manned by a lovely band of volunteers. Admission is FREE but donations are always very welcome.

The only west facing resort on the east coast of England - there are two sides to Hunstanton.
Old Hunstanton is a village settlement adjacent to the larger resort of Hunstanton or New Hunstanton. The quiet character of Old Hunstanton remains distinct from and complements that of its busy sibling.
