All Saints Church

Hillington Square/Church Lane,King's Lynn

All Saints is a beautiful church in the heart of King's Lynn - and the oldest church in the town too...

Welcome to All Saints

All Saints is a beautiful church and the oldest church in King's Lynn; this is where Lynn began in Saxon times. It is rather hidden away and is not that well known.

The church is mainly 14th century, with traces of Norman work in the chancel. It contains a fine collection of stained glass windows and the panels of a rood screen which are the only surviving piece of medieval painted woodwork in Lynn. Beside the high altar is the anchorhold, the cell of a medieval recluse.

The church interior can be viewed from the glazed porch during the day, and the church is open around service times which are usually held twice daily. Please see our website for details of services and events: https://www.achurchnearyou.com/church/5437
