West Norfolk is the ideal place for a holiday full of activity! The sea provides a vast playground to enjoy a variety of sports, from sailing and jet skiing to the excitement of windsurfing, where Hunstanton offers some of the best conditions in the country for this popular sport.

Lynnsport is one of the largest leisure centres in the country offering a range of different activities in 72 acres of land. The Hangar climbing centre offers top rope climbing, lead climbing, and bouldering. Lynnsport is also home to KASET indoor skate park.

The Howdale in Downham Market on Howdale Road and Hunstanton next to the beach cafe are just two of these fabulous play areas that kids of all ages will enjoy.

Whether you like swimming at a pool or outdoors there’s plenty of opportunities to swim in west Norfolk. There are four leisure centres across west Norfolk, three with swimming pools. You can also swim up at the coast, however please do not swim at Snettisham or Heacham, nor in the rivers or country parks. There are also a number of private swimming pools such as The Old Gym.
