Crafter's Retreat

Crafter's Retreat is nestled cosily in its own, self-contained private garden extending to around a quarter of an acre and boasting a hot tub on the veranda.
Despite its seclusion and privacy, this secret gem is ideally placed for those seeking to explore East Anglia with its pretty coastline; and local amenities are also just a stone's throw away.

Crafter's Retreat is so named because it's located behind our self-contained gardens and studios where we offer private 1-2-1 or pairs pottery, woodturning and green woodworking experiences. This peaceful location is perfect for getting those creative juices flowing, and we've even equipped the cabin with an easel for those who might want to paint or sketch in the garden.

Although we are of course on hand if you need us, we respect your privacy at all times.

After parking in the large private carpark, take the path that leads to your secluded retreat. The path and access to the cabin are suitable for wheelchair users.

You are greeted by a welcoming, pretty veranda where you'll find a large, inviting hydrotherapy spa (hot tub) and patio furniture - simply perfect for al fresco dining.

From the moment you walk through the wide double entrance doors, you'll feel our special Crafter's Retreat hospitality. The open-plan living space offers comfy furniture and a large flat screen TV on the right, while you'll find a spacious dining area on the left.

Facilities include:

A well-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven & hob, microwave, high-chair etc.

A large, cosy bedroom with king-size bed, full-length mirror, dressing table, travel cot and plenty of storage space for clothes is located towards the rear of the cabin alongside a modern bathroom that includes a double shower and heated towel rail.

The cabin also boasts free WiFi, Broadband, a selection of books, board games and art supplies too.

Outside, you are invited to enjoy your own private Victorian-style knot garden and a little "woodlet".
There's ample space to use the provided sun loungers, and you can even toast marshmallows in the fire pit!

Between 5 January 2024 - 20 December 2024: £800.00 (for a 7-night stay).
£130.00 per night (for a stay that is less than a week).

Between 20 December 2024 - 3 January 2025: £890.00 (for a 7-night stay).
£140.00 per night (for a stay that is less than a week).
