Virginia Lake Caravan Park

Set in the glorious Fenland countryside Virginia Lake Caravan Park is open all year round (subject to weather conditions) with availability of grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

Secure caravan storage is available here at the park. Caravan/motorhome rallies are welcome. Electric hook-up points are provided for all pitches on the park, along with plentiful water points.

Virginia Lake is very lucky to be located extremely close to several lanes and grass banks which dog walkers may use, and where pets are allowed to run free off lead. The site itself is well lit with low level lighting througout and is monitored 24 hours a day by C.C.T.V.

Wash Facilities:

The park provides new purpose built amenity blocks for visitors, comprising of fully heated showers and toilet facilities which are complete with wash basins, hand dryers and hair dryers. Additionally, there is a disabled/family shower room available if required. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of these amenities, all of which are cleaned daily, and respectfully ask that all guests appreciate our efforts and leave the facilities as you would wish to find them.

Fishing:

The lake is extremely well stocked with Roach, Rudd, Bream, Barbel, Perch, Chub, Tench and Carp of 30 pounds plus. Covering 2 acres in size, with two island features, the fishing lake offers 9 fishing pegs including large family sized pegs plus 2 platformed and safety railed disabled fishing areas. The lake is only available to be fished by guests staying overnight on site. Children under 16 may only fish if accompanied by an adult. The lake may be fished from 8 A.M until just before dusk only with no night fishing permitted. There is no extra charge for fishing - this is included in the nightly stay fee.

Bar and Social Room:

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the bar and social room facilities - fellow locals and visitors, tourists, local groups and clubs. Private functions, hirings and bookings of the amenities can be made by arrangement too. The bar and social room is a warm and welcoming area that is child, family and pet friendly.
