

The Hunstanton and District Open Bowls Tournament is a popular annual event held at the Cliff Parade Bowls Green in Hunstanton and attracts competitors from all over the country. The competition runs for one week in July and, in 2011, the tournament saw more than 150 competitors take part.
The Princess Theatre, a distinctive building built with Norfolk carrstone, has traditionally shown a rich variety of theatre shows – from variety to drama, dance, music, and films.
Alive Oasis is located along the seafront, a prime location providing picturesque panoramic views across The Wash, where during a summer evening a beautiful sunset is a sight worth seeing. The Alive Oasis Sports & Leisure Centre is a multi-functional, all-year round site and makes the perfect location for an action-packed day out that the whole family can enjoy over and over again. Facilities include a 25m warm water swimming pool with separate toddler pool, whirlpool spa and a 33m aqua slide, a four-lane indoor bowling green, an outdoor roller-skating rink, squash court and much more.
Located within Alive Oasis, mini adventurers will find Hunstanton’s most exciting indoor adventure play area, the Fun Castle. The Fun Castle is a 30,000ft breath-taking children’s adventure play area which has been built to ignite children’s senses, allow their imagination to run wild and provide hours of action packed fun that they will want to enjoy over and over again.
Suitable for children aged 10 and under who are also under 142cm tall, the Fun Castle is jam-packed with challenging games and activities, climbing frames and super slides. It even has a specially-designed toddler play area complete with shape sorters, bumpy slides and a dazzling interactive ball boggler for your little ones to enjoy.
Ten pin bowling is close by, as well as the usual seaside favourites such as the fun fair, amusements and beach ponies. Walkers can pick up the start of the Norfolk Coast Path in Hunstanton and catch the Coastliner bus back to the town.
