MARCH
The King’s Lynn Fiction Festival is featured throughout the town every March, often along with events from the King’s Lynn Festival Winter series, such as a Coffee Concert.
The Soul Family Affair Weekend bring a host of soul, jazz and dance anthems to Searles Leisure Resort, Hunstanton.
The Deepdale Spring Market and the Deepdale Hygge are delights to visit towards the end of March.
APRIL
The popular Barefoot Estates Burnham Market International Horse Trails draw great crowds from all over the world, at Sussex Farm.
The annual Creake Abbey Spring Gift Fair hosts a great selection of craft and food producers every April.
MAY
The King’s Lynn Hanse Festival is a great family event held over the course of a weekend in King’s Lynn town centre.
Held over the May bank holiday weekend, The Stradsett Vintage Rally takes place in the countryside outside Downham Market, Norfolk.
The renowned annual International Horse Trials event is held in late-May at Houghton Hall.
The annual Asda Foundation Grand East Anglia Run (GEAR) is held at the Tuesday Market Place, King’s Lynn.
Creake Abbey welcomes over 30 specialist plant nurseries at their Plant Lovers’ Day in May.

JUNE
Take part in the Hunstanton Carnival for colourful fun for all the family (Tel: 01485 532610).
The Run Sandringham half marathon will be taking place in June.
JULY
Festival Too provides three weekends of free concerts and family fun in King’s Lynn town centre.
King’s Lynn Festival provides a host of world-renowned classical musicians and performers every July.
Outlaw Half Triathlon will be taking place at Holkham Hall and King’s Lynn Race for Life in Houghton Hall.
Flower lovers flock to the area towards the end of July, visiting the famous Sandringham Flower Show (cancelled for 2021), the Old Hunstanton Flower Festival (Tel: 01485 533511) amongst other horticultural events.
AUGUST
Sample regional food and delicious delights at Sandringham Food & Drink Festival in early August, and the colourful parade at the annual Heacham Carnival (Tel: 01485 572142).
The massively popular Water Ski Racing event in King’s Lynn returns in August (Tel: 01553 774297).
Burnham Market Craft Fair hosts a great selection of craft stalls set over the Burnham Market Village Greens in August.
The Downham Market Water Festival returns every August to provide a great waterside event for all the family (Tel: 01366 387770) and the Hunstanton Lawn Tennis Tournament grows with popularity every year.
SEPTEMBER
The annual Heritage Open Day in King’s Lynn is the most popular heritage event in the town, bringing visitors from far and wide.
The King’s Lynn Poetry Festival returns towards the end of September.
Also towards the end of September, visit the fantastic Deepdale Festival.
OCTOBER
The popular Norfolk Walking and Cycling Festival returns in October with an ever-increasing programme of outdoor events.
Spend an afternoon at one of WWT Welney’s wild swan feeds from October and into the winter, enjoying this experience from the comfort of their centrally-heated hide.
The King’s Lynn Festival Extra Weekend begins towards the end of the month, featuring a rich variety of musical entertainment, workshops and a “coffee concert”.
NOVEMBER

The annual Christmas Day Swim attracts many brave swimmers (often in fancy dress) from all ages to the beach at Hunstanton for a breathtaking swim in the cold December sea.
